These handmade spatulas are made with salvaged scrap wood. This listing is for a set of 2. Each one is made by hand in the Pacific Northwest. They can differ slightly in size, shape, and color.
The narrow nature of these spatulas makes them perfect for scraping pans. We enjoy using them to make stir fry, mix our sourdough, when making baked goods, and for mixing large batches of soup or stew. We sell this variety in a set of two because they do work really well as tongs for salad or serving. If you've never used a stir stick/spatula prepare to say "how did I ever live without this". They really are that versatile.
We oil our wooden spatulas frequently to keep them fresh and protected, we recommend that you do the same as you use them. We use food-grade mineral oil, which can be found in any pharmacy section of your grocery store.
We hope you enjoy using your wooden utensil as much as we do in our homes.
Spatula measures approximately 11" long by 1.5" wide.
