This watermelon-type radish is actually a type of Daikon radish. Its whitish-green outsides open up to a beautiful bright pink inside. Slightly spicy and uber vibrant, this radish has quickly become a fan favorite. They make for a great pickle (that Sulphur smell is totally normal among all pickled radishes). Radishes also make a good starter vegetable for new gardeners and children alike. They are quick to harvest and very satisfying to grow and pluck from the soil.

Planting instructions: Sow thinly in rows about 6" apart. Cover with 1/2" of fine soil; firm lightly and keep evenly moist. Seedlings emerge in 4-6 days. Thin to stand about 2" apart.
