The shade of greyish lavender of these poppies is truly impressive. You could look at them forever. They are a hardy grower and have a tiny little poppy pod they leave behind after the flowers fade. They have a 70% germination rate, so keep that in mind when sowing and plant a few extra.
SEED COUNT: ≈ 50 SEEDS
Planting Instructions: Direct sow in early spring or late fall. Press lightly into the slightly moist soil and don't cover with soil. They require sun to germinate. Alternatively, you can mix with fine sand and cast them broadly on top of good soil. Do not transplant, these do not do well when their roots are disturbed. Will self sow each year, however, save the seed pods for future use.
