Fairytale [Musque de Provence] Pumpkin Seeds

Musque de Provence or Fairytale is a French heirloom pumpkin with deep ribbing and a buckskin color. Excellent taste and is often sold in wedges at farmers' markets across Europe. Sweet robust flavor and long shelf life. Use as a decoration then break one open for cooking. Fruit can grow up to 20lbs each.

Planting Instructions: Start early indoors in pots 3 weeks prior to transplant and harden off after last spring frost. Handle seedlings carefully; minimal root disturbance is best. Can also be seeded directly in the field after soil temperature is 72°F. Plant seeds 1" deep and 4-5' apart (or thin to this spacing). Poor fruit development may indicate insufficient pollination.
