Cinderella [Rouge Vif d’Etampes] Pumpkin Seeds

Rouge Vif d’Etampes or Cinderella Pumpkin is a French heirloom pumpkin variety. Flat reddish-orange fruits shaped like cheese round blocks. Sweet, delicious orange flesh. Great for pies and custards. Decorate with this pumpkin and then crack one open for cooking. Did you know that all pumpkins are edible? Some are tastier than others. This french classic is a staple for not only its looks but its great taste.

Planting Instructions: Start early indoors in pots 3 weeks prior to transplant and harden off after last spring frost. Handle seedlings carefully; minimal root disturbance is best. Can also be seeded directly in the field after soil temperature is 72°F. Plant seeds 1" deep and 4-5' apart (or thin to this spacing). Poor fruit development may indicate insufficient pollination.
