Arugula Astro is a milder arugula variety with a less lobbed shape and a more linear leaf (strap-leaf). It grows easy as a microgreen. Leaves are less spicy when harvested young. But if you like that spicy bite like me, you can certainly let them grow. They also do well in colder weather and make for good winter lettuce.

Planting instructions: Direct sow outdoors in weekly successions (for a longer harvesting time) anywhere from mid-March to April and again in September for a fall/winter crop. Plant seeds ¼” deep about 4-6” apart. Overcrowded plants tend to bolt early. Harvesting with scissors will promote a “cut and come again” growth pattern.
