Looking for the perfect summer snacking tomato? You’ve found it with Yellow Pear! A favorite of heirloom tomato gardeners for decades, this variety makes a vigorous plant, which bears enormous numbers of bright yellow, bite-sized fruit that has a deliciously tangy flavor. Fruits weigh 1 oz.
SEED COUNT: 50 seeds
Planting instructions: Because tomatoes have a long growing season, it’s best to start them indoors to give them a head start (especially where the summers are short). Sow tomato seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost in spring. Plant seeds ¼ inch deep in seed-starting formula, harden off and transplant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. When transplanting outdoors burry the stem about 1/3 deep to promote more roots forming.
