Early Girl produces bright red, meaty tomatoes with incredible flavor and aroma earlier than other varieties. Its globe-shaped 5 oz fruit is perfect for slicing on sandwiches and for salads. If you tend to be as impatient as us when it comes to growing tomatoes, be sure to give these a try. They don’t disappoint when they start to mature much sooner than all the others. Being naturally heat tolerant, they also work well in the southern states.

Planting instructions: Because tomatoes have a long growing season, it’s best to start them indoors to give them a head start (especially where the summers are short). Sow tomato seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost in spring. Plant seeds ¼ inch deep in seed-starting formula, harden off, and transplant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. When transplanting outdoors burry the stem about 1/3 deep to promote more roots forming.
