Originating in the Crimea, an island peninsula known for its perfect "tomato Summers," this beefsteak variety bears medium-sized, very dark maroon fruits with wonderfully rich flavor. Delicate skin and juicy, green-tinted flesh complete the package! Indeterminate best when staked. Blossoms and fruit develop progressively, and the harvest lasts several months.

Planting instructions: Because of tomatoes long growing season, it’s best to start them indoors to give them a head start. Sow tomato seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost in spring. Plant seeds ¼ inch deep in seed-starting formula, harden off, and transplant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. When transplanting outdoors burry the stem about 1/3 deep to promote more roots forming.
