A truly double fluffy sunflower with soft yellow petals and a small green center that unfurls for showstopping beauty. Can grow up to 6’ tall, so plant along a fence or border. Attracts birds and pollinators, and has an extra-long vase life making it a good cut flower variety. Blooms can reach 6-10” and are nearly pollen-free.
SEED COUNT: ≈ 40 SEEDS
Planting instructions: Sow seeds ½ inch deep. Space the groups 18-24 inches apart.
Sun: Full Sun Germination (days till sprouts appear): 4-8 days Life Cycle: Days to maturity: 50 days Spacing: 18-24” Height: 4-6 feet
Tips: plant sunflowers in an open space so they can access and follow the sun. Be aware that because these grow tall, they can shade other plants around them. Plan accordingly. If you plan on using these for cut flowers, consider planting in succession to have a longer harvest time. Let one head go to seed to collect for bird feed or for planting next season.
